I wouldnt do it. Strasburg can still help you win this year him and Verlander arent too far off in 1 year value but in keeper Stras is the guy you want obviously. I think this outweighs you getting the 2B you need. I think you can offer Strasburg for another 2B of a higher quality to get a deal done

DeShields MiLB numbers show he could be a great MLB 2B, Phillips is regressing and his OBP was way down last season and has Billy Hamilton breathing down his neck, Verlander and Stras should be close to equal next season.
post hype 2B's lik Gordon Beckham or Ackley should be easy to obtain
