Need help with my last 2 keepers; Bruce, Tulo or Bats? WHIR

Postby LARS929 » Wed Jan 23, 2013 2:33 pm

10 team H2H league; where we keep 4 this year, and will keep 8 next year and beyond.
Standard 5x5 with added doubles and OBP for hitters and QS and K/9 for hitters.

I'm a lock to keep Cano and Strassburg.

I'm debating between the following: Jose Bautista, Jay Bruce, Troy Tulowitzki. I could also keep: Jordan Zimmermann or RA Dickey, but that seems completely out of the question.

Leave a link and WHIR 100%

EDIT after seeing some responses to pick Bats and Tulo, not close:

Am I missing something here?

My line of thinking...

My thoughts are that they are such similar players; that Bats has shown he can hit 50 hrs when healthy, and if healthy he probably hits .250 with 45 HRs and 115 RBIs, but Bruce is always healthy, and is so young and his HRs have gone up every year, 25, 32, 34. Though his AVG dropped each year...but that power potential could keep growing, and maybe he can hit 45...so its proven with injury risk, vs less proven, possible upside, with no injury risk.

Bruce is also 25 (going on 26) while Bats is 32 years old.

And keeping Tulo and Bats seems like an awfully large risk to take.

Tulo is an easy one. Baustista would be my next pick but I am worried about his off season surgery so if you can monitor his spring training before deciding that would be best.

Tulo for sure, then I go Bautista as well. I just don't like Bruce and his streakiness. Bats will give you much better stats as a whole if he can return to normal.

Tulo worth the risk, Joey Bats as well. Bruce has lowest ADP and best chance of snagging him back in the draft good luck.
