Alight so I am in a Yahoo H2H 5x5 standard 12 team league. The keeper requirements are in the subject, and we are using the same rookie status as MLB (Last season the commish made his own...).
Roster:
JP Arencibia Michael Brantley Austin Jackson Brett Jackson Desmond Jennings Matt Kemp Ian Kinsler Manny Machado Daniel Murphy Mike Olt Hanley Ramirez Pablo Sandoval Alfonso Soriano Mark Trumbo Justin Upton
Mike Adams Joe Blanton Mark Buehrle Tyler Clippard Tyler Cloyd Zack Greinke Roy Halladay Kenley Jansen Wade Miley Tommy Milone Jonathon Niese David Robertson Jack Westbrook Vance Worley
I highlighted the players I like,,, but it's hard to keep Austin Jackson over any of the others :(
What do you guys think? thanks!
P.S 67 days until opening day!

Greinke, Kemp, Kinsler, Upton, and Hanley are no brainers. I think I prefer Olt to Jackson and the last spot could go to any number of guys. I have Pablo ranked the 75th hitter, Jackson the 80th, Trumbo 88th, and Jennings 89th. It really just comes down to personal preference at that point.
Thanks a lot guys! You like Pablo more than Trumbo? I know Trumbo really faded at the end of the season, but with Sandova injuries are a concern. Plus the hitters around Trumbo will support him far more greatly than the ones around Panda.

Agree with these.
I wouldn't worry so much about Pablo. When he plays he hits the ball pretty well. I want to see more from Trumbo and yes I am worried after that 2nd half collapse. Plus in a 12 team keeper, position eligibility is something to think about.

Call me crazy, but I'd much rather have Des Jennings or Machado over Sandoval or Trumbo as my #5 keeper. If/when Machado moves back to SS, he will be in the mix for top SS with Tulo and Hanley because of his power upside, so you will will be able to cash in big by moving him or Hanley. Jennings is safer than Machado, but I'd lean toward keeping Machado simply because of his upside. I also think you'll have a better chance at redrafting Jennings, Sandoval, or Trumbo than you will Machado.
