Just ask for a couple of personal/work references, if they give you work it's probably a good one if you get the local bartender/hooker/dealer you probably should pass but make sure you keep their numbers .
Ask them if they know who Wayne Haddix or Zarley Zalapski are? Yes to both and you have a winner. Yes to one and your still pretty good. Yes to none then move on unless her bewbs are abnormally large for her petite frame.

I am leaning towards a male roommate. They tend to be lower maintenance, not much dirtier and I wont have to listen to them all the time about their issues and feelings. I am open to having a roommate of either sex but I am a good looking man with a considerable amount of charm so I wouldnt be able to help myself from sleeping with my roommate. and possibly her friends. That and I wouldnt want her F-ing boyfriend over all of the time cuddling on my couch.
