finding a roommate...

I am aware that craigslist and roommate.com are 2 places where postings are advertised. Does anyone know of any others? Has anyone used either of these 2 sites to find a roommate or someone who is looking for one? I live in Baltimore and am open to either getting a 2 bedroom first or moving in with someone else who already has a place. Any advice on this general topic would be helpful.

Any questions that you would ask someone beyond the obvious(smoker? pets? odd habits to be aware of? bf/gf visiting often?)?

Pretty much the most important thing right here. Of course, you want to know about pets, smoking, frequency of guests, their sleep schedule, cleanliness, what can and cannot be shared, and any requirements as far as security depsosits. Obviously finding a good friend out of it would be nice but it's like college, can be completely 50/50.

terrific. This thread went from a legitimate request for assistance and sage advice and has detoured into the road that leads to sexual harassment suits and court orders. If those types of pics do happen to get exchanged as part of a pre-meet scrutiny of body shapes, where would I post them on this website?
