I love the pick especially with SS/ 2B eligibility -- was targeting in 4th round. Sounds like I'm not alone.

Solid. Good mock so far

NikkiSixx wrote:Zobrist for fantasy is Dustin Pedroia with a lower batting average. Throw in the position flexibility and you have a good pick right around 40 overall. There is also the possibility he hits .297 again and that would make him a steal... But I'm expecting a .270's average that flirts with 20/20 and has good run production. Pretty safe pick to do that with a little bit of upside for a higher average if he gets lucky.

Also gives u the option to take the best available middle infielder later in the draft. Doesn't limit to JUST 2B or JUST SS. I'm a Zobrist fan this season.

If you are looking for safe Zobrist is your guy. He is going to put up those 19/19 or 18/18 numbers every year. As long as you take him knowing there really isnt an upside to him I think its fine. The position elgibility at 2B and SS does make him tasty.

I'd be pretty happy to get Holliday 40th overall this year.

Holliday at 40 is great value. I like doing this before most of the fantasy websites have their rankings out.

We definitely have a good group in this mock. It's making me more anxious for spring training to start. I find myself checking this website 10+ times a day this week seeing the updates in the mock lol.

Izenhart and I are at opposite ends of the draft. How about whichever of us is further away from the skippee will pick a player for him whenever we get here and notice that a skip has occurred. In other words you don't have to wait for us to make a pick, we'll make it up when we check in. In this case I'm much further away from GP than Izencat so I'll pick if GP runs the clock out.

Ok by me.

Ok by me.

Sorry I've been busy tonight. Yes this sounds agreeable.

Starlin Castro is interesting. Nothing really stands out as extraordinary other than maybe his average, but he puts up solid numbers across the board. At his young age, there may be some growth left in the bat.

I love picking at the turn having nothing but outfielders and reaches suits my sense of adventure it's like hitting a flop shot over water to a tight pin, :-b
