Agreed! Ideally, id like for us to select 3-4 guys per day, if at all possible. Maybe I should have suggested a "Not So Slow Mock Draft"

so what's the plan if gp doesn't show up in the next 3 hours? seems silly to skip a pick in a mock but we need to get things moving.

Just give him a pitcher if he doesn't show up. Lots of good ones available...

If this were a real draft, I think it would suck to be him. Since we're doing this as an exercise, I think we certainly skip him and keep the ball rolling, but we need to get someone assigned to his team before too many players are gone.

Izenhart and I are at opposite ends of the draft. How about whichever of us is further away from the skippee will pick a player for him whenever we get here and notice that a skip has occurred. In other words you don't have to wait for us to make a pick, we'll make it up when we check in. In this case I'm much further away from GP than Izencat so I'll pick if GP runs the clock out.

Everyone good with 12 hours plus 6 hours overnight starting next round? Honestly, it's not been an issue. Aside from the 2 obvious exceptions, every pick has been made within a couple of hours.
