I love picking at the turn having nothing but outfielders and reaches suits my sense of adventure it's like hitting a flop shot over water to a tight pin,

I love that we picked our draft position and it wasn't randomized. Don't get to do that very often!

I know a guy that runs a league that picks draft spots like that.

could have gone 5 different directions with 4th round pick. went "safe" with Brandon Phillips. Think 2B is an absolute disaster this year and feel you need to get one early. not exactly thrilled with this value, cause he feels more like a 5th rounder to me -- but, assuming he's healthy -- 85/19/90/ .285 /20 should be within reach.

BP is usually pretty solid across the board. But he doesn't run nearly as much anymore, so I think 20 is a little high. Especially with offense they've got in Cincy now. No need to really run. RBI's probably won't be as high either but his runs may increase. Overall solid pick, and yes 2B is kind of a crapshoot this year IMO.

your probably right on the steals, plus he's a bit older now -- however, it's not much of a stretch for him to get 18-20 swipes. i love that reds roster and home park, so his counting stats could be on rise. again, not a sexy pick -- but like taking care of my MI needs early this year... not loving the depth

Pablo Sandoval is on the "I do good every other year plan". This is the year he does good. I hope...


Plus I loved how he performed in the post season

unlikely teixeira will ever hit for average again but he's got the most power of anyone left and the counting stats will be there. i'd be pretty happy to get him later than 50th overall.

There's no way Headley hits 31 round-trippers again, but I bet he hits 20 with a great average and double-digit steals.
