Who was your 3rd option after Votto/Cutch? Those guys were a tier above anyone else remaining to me, I'd be ecstatic to land either at 9. After doing a few mocks, I'd like to see how pitching shapes up because I'd strongly consider Verlander/Kershaw instead.

I would say Fielder, probably... I'm not a fan of touching pitching early. Just my style. Have way more fantasy success building offense first...

I've always found it easier to find an ace pitcher after round 5 than it is to find a stud hitter after round 5.

I think in general terms I agree but there's just too much risk after the top 7 or 8 hitters to not consider a top arm. I want my round one pick to be as reliable as possible, and I always personally do better when I have a stud or two to anchor my rotation. My original plan was to get a bat then hope a pitcher was available in round two, but after Verlander went before me I didn't feel I had a choice with Kershaw. The other hitters I also debated picking in the 11 spot I feel one of them had a better shot to be there at my turn than Kershaw did. Now if I'm wrong I may start second guessing my pick a little. We'll see!

I Pm'd fenris after my pick but he hasn't been online since this draft started. Lets hope we work out the kinks now and things pick up.

I have my picks lined up but since it's a mock shouldn't we find a replacement owner to make the selection for ferris unless someone has heard from him? I have a feeling ayebatter and I will be quick about the turn leaving us waiting once again.
