This is totally a 8 player first round to me but think the top 5-6 available are still guys who can produce first round numbers if things bounce in their favor, better than many other years.
Oddly, I feel like there are a number of players who can be bunched in first round, meaning i have a ton of question marks about a lot of these guys. My Top 14 could really be Top 20 as I think a lot of picks from 4-20 are interchangeable.
At Pick 7, was looking at 1B or power/speed combo (OF), specifically was choosing between:
Votto - coming off injury plagued 2012 campaign. Love him, but think his power might regress until he learns to add some loft to his LD rate. He's more likely to have 100/25/100 .320 /10 type year. I can also see him running less too due to injury risk.
Cutch - coming off career/great year. However, very questionable lineup around him. Notwithstanding, think he's a good bet for 100/30/100 .300/30 type season if things break right. I think he's really the "safest" of the Kemp, Cutch, *mod edit* tier. I would take Braun, Trout as OF in front of him, that's about it... He's heading into prime and more importantly, was healthy in 2012. Of note, Pittsburgh saps power (believe it was one of top 5 worst hitting stadiums), so theres that...

Ya I wasn't expecting to take Kershaw at 11 when I signed up for the spot, I was expecting one of the hitters I like to fall but they were all taken, and of the guys left I don't see one that stands out so I'll be happy to take who's left at my turn.
