Which group of keepers?(WHIR)

Postby kidsilk » Fri Jan 18, 2013 8:27 pm

16 team, 32 man roster, auction type with 260 dollar cap, keeper(can keep as many players as you want per year as long as you stay under the cap at the end of the draft or are at 260 dollars), 7x7 cats wit OBP, TB, HOLDS, QS for extra cats

If I make a couple of trades that have been offered to me I could end up with different keepers. Which group would you rather have going into the draft?

Team A:

Hanley(40)
Uggla(18)
Bonifacio(11)
Jennings(24)
Hellickson(16)
Rizzo(4)
Beltre(33)
Buerhle(4)
McDonald(5)
E.Jackson(4)
Kimbrel(24)
Putz(10)
Dunn(8)

13 players for 201 dollars

or Team B:

Prince(43)
Felix(35)
Zobrist(23)
Beltre(33)
Buerhle(4)
E. Jackson(4)
McDonald(5)
Wandy(6)
Kimbrel(24)
Street(11)
Alvarez(7)
Rios(7)
Dunn(8)

13 players for 200 dollars.

I go team B as well. I like their upper-mid tier guys a lot better.

I like team B by a lot. Much better values and a better all around team.

Gotta be team B, and kudos to you if that's the trade-dependent team, as that's a hell of a makeover in one offseason.

Ok Team B it is! On another note, I have been offered a trade that would send Rios and Martin(who I am not keeping) for his Cliff Lee who is 36 bucks. If I did this I would have to drop a few of my mid round starters to keep Lee but the prospect of having Lee and Felix is tempting. Any thoughts?

Also, I also have Stanton(40) and Pujols(50) that I could keep over Prince. Would you keep either of these two over anyone else?

Team B by a mile if you ask me.
Pujols is a little high.
Stanton is a great player and you'd save 3 bucks I'd keep stanton and that will set your OF pretty much with Stanton, Dunn, Rios/Zobrist. Pujols/Prince/etc 1b will be thrown back and you can probably get one or the other for even less (pujols is too high at 50)
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!

So keep Stanton and throw Prince back? And should I do the Cliff Lee deal?
