Draft Champions League....150-200

Someone start a Draft Champions, 50 round slow draft!!!! Same as NFBC style, but no juice except for site fees! Use League safe and CBS as soon as it opens up. Any takers? 15 teams, 5x5 roto, no faab. You play with the 50 players you drafted. Out for the yr, tough!

I would be interested in a format like this. Hell, I'd even put together rules, constitution, etc. and run the damn thing. I have 25+ years of Rotisserie experience and have been Commissioner of 20+ leagues. I would want the ability to make daily moves to keep the league active since their would be no FA's. Trading would need to be allowed, no? And because of the roster size (50) I'm assuming this would be a keeper format?

So long as we can get 12+ solid players, I'm interested in getting this league started.

If we were going to base it on NFBC rules - I think we should follow their rules as closely as possible

I love the NFBC format - but I hate the fact that they take so much out of the pot for one league and then use part of it towards the big pot. I actually emailed those guys asking if we could create separate leagues that were not part of the huge pot - they said no.

Here is what I am willing to do:

I will set up the league with exactly the specifications of the NFBC league

IE: 50 rounds. no free agent moves, no trades,
15 TEAMS MIXED 5X5 ROTO
I am not sure if any site (CBS YAHOO ESPN) etc is currently set up to allow you to make roster moves twice a week the way NFBC does. I will look into that.


TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.

IF WE STICK VERY CLOSE TO NFBC RULES - and for soe reason someone else wants to be the commish - I AM IN AS LONG AS COMMISH IS TRUSTWORTHY AND WE USE LEAGUE SAFE OR PAYPAL FOR PAYOUTS.

Once you have logged in there - we can discuss rules, entry fee payout etc - and I will take the first 14 more people who enter, signup and pay entry fee. I will not hold off the whole league because 1-2 guys can't get their act together - so everyon will have a few days to decide whether they are in or out. We are not going to beat around the bush for 4 weeks figuring it all out.It's pretty standard we are using NFBC rules, the only things we really have to discuss is entry fee/payout structure and which site to use.

We can discuss vote on whether to use yahoo/espn/cbs whatever.

ALSO - please note - I am building the board as we speak. Its sort of a slow process - I just jumped on there and built the website cause this is something I have been wanting to do for two years and finally theres a group of other guys who want to do it so boom - let's do it.
