5x5 Roto, 10 team. I finshed 2nd last season so I have the 9th pick in the draft. My team is loaded with starting pitching, so I am trying to make a deal for a bat, but it is a notoriously trade hostile league so I am not optimistic of being able to work something out.
C: AJ Pierz, Weiters 1b: Rizzo 2b: Pedroia SS: Jeter 3b: R. Zimmerman IF: D. Wright OF: Craig, Morse, Ross, Soriano, Zobrist Util: Kipnis Bench: Reddick
Then it is between Zimmerman and Kipnis for the last spot with me leaning towards Kipnis. It would be nice if you could deal some pitching but if you can't, I would have no problem going into the draft with those three studs on your team.

Because of Zobrist's versatility (should be SS eligible in most leagues), I might consider him. I agree with everyone else.......love Kipnis and Zimmerman, but Zobrist being eligible at 3 positions seals the deal for me.
These make the most sense to me. Pedroia, Zimmerman, Wright. Kershaw, Weaver and Cain. I know people are high on Kipnis but why would you take him over a proven guy like Zimm? Take the more likely sure thing in Zimm who is only 28 and also plays at a shallow position.
Now if you're going to look at trades, in a 10 team league it's going to be hard to move pitching because likely every team has an alright pitching staff. What you could do though is look at the owners who have Bautista and Encarnacion, both of those players will lose 3B eligibility, so maybe who knows they might be willing to take someone like Zimm or Wright plus Sale for a top hitter. Never know, just something to think about.
