12 team, 5x5 Roto 10 keepers $260 cap. Keepers go up $5 a year to keep.
Current 9:
Kemp 27
Cano 24
Tulo 23
Strasburg 18
Greinke 16
Heyward 15
Hosmer 8
Howard 5
Samardzija 3
Left with Middlebrooks at 8 or Machado at 3. Initial thoughts were Machado, but read alot of positive reports on Middlebrooks + more favorable projections this year. I understand Machado will be the better player down the road, but not convinced he outperforms Middlebrooks this year. Also think if I throw Middlebrooks back he could go as high as $12-14, while Machado may go to $7 or $8. Not really sure though, this is our first auction draft and I feel like it could go one of 100 different directions.
Thoughts?

I guess I would go Machado too, although they will probably put up similar numbers this year. I agree with Maud tho try to get a better one in the draft (if they are available).

Another vote for Machado, who will ultimately be the better player. Plus I don't like hitters coming off wrist injuries. I think I would keep Machado even if he was at $8.

I would stick with Machado here. At $3 this year and a potential $8/$13 for the next two (assuming you keep him longer then just this season, seems to be a lot better value long term.
Help with mine?
