I'm in a 12 team, H2H league that allows us to keep 4 players each year, one of which has to be a pitcher. Can keep a player for no more than 3 years (previous year plus 2) at which time they go back in the draft. We play 8 starting positions plus DH on offense, 5 SP's, and 2 RP's. My only player from last year that goes back in draft next year is Jose Reyes. So, with that being said, here's my roster from last year....yes, I won my league:

Batters: Salvador Perez, Jesus Montero, Adrian Gonzalez, Cano, Reyes, Encarnacion, Trumbo, Trout, Ellsbury, Stanton, Prado, and Willingham

Starting Pitchers: Baumgarner, Dickey, Strasburg, Wainwright, Darvish, Hammell, Britton, Morrow, Miley, and Vargas.

Relief Pitchers: Aroldis Chapman, Jim Johnson, and Medlan.

I can keep Strasburg, Ellsbury and Stanton for 1 more year and all others for 2. My original thought was to keep Trout, Stanton, and Strasburg but am open to trades (draft choices only) for everyone but Trout.

Thoughts??

I think you have to keep Cano, elite 2B are hard to come by, keep him and don't worry about 2B for a while. Then I'll go with Trout, Stanton and Stras.
