DC Area Owners Wanted

Openings in two well established AL & NL leagues. Live draft in Fairfax, VA usually the weekend after opening day, but will be scheduled soon. Leauges date back 25+ years. Owners may play in one or both leagues. Entry fee is $100 + $30 stats. Top four places get paid.

5x5 keeper leagues - deep farm teams. 12 team leagues with $260 budget for 23 players.

AL - one vacancy for an expansion team. Expansion draft will allow existing owners to protect 7 major league players, then expansion owner may select one from each other owner. New team will get first pick in each round of 3 round farm draft.

NL - two remaining vacancies. New owners will participate in distribution draft to fairly distribute players, picks & farmhands from 3 teams. There is pretty decent keeper talent on the teams (e.g. Stanton $5, Rizzo $5, Freeman $5), so nobody will start with a completely bare cupboard. Distribution draft will be via email and start when 3 new owners agree. New owners are then free to wheel & deal before opening day.
