So I was looking at Zimmerman, Hamels and Grienke there...guess I'll gamble on the huge upside with Ellsbury.

It was between Bruce and Harper for me earlier. Decided to trade some homers for some SB's, and hopefully a better BA. Both Harper and Bruce have upside, it's just a matter of measuring who has more in 2013.

Hanley seems like a steal at 4.08. Seems like I'm going all in with the high risk high reward picks.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

I've owned Hanley in a keeper league for the past 5 years. I've rolled the dice with him the past two years despite diminishing returns. I'm throwing him back in the keeper pool this year since I'm just too frustrated with his up/down performance.

That said, getting him the fourth round of a 12-team league seems to be extremely good value for the potential to be the #1 SS.

And Allen Craig. I have a huge man-crush on him this year. With Berkman gone, he seems to have a wide open path to playing time this season. I mentioned earlier in this discussion picking up a player like Holliday 2-3 rounds later, and this is the player. Potential for .300/30/100

As a Rays fan, I hope you're right. We need SOME offense!

What's your expectation? Carl Crawford-lite (circa 2010)?

My plan A, B, and C both got grabbed at the end of the round.

It looks like SP is really deep this year.

Hamels was next on my list after Greinke. Honestly I prefer Hamels slightly over Greinke but the sore shoulder made me go with ZG.

Hanley could be the pick of the draft there but I couldn't justify it with already having a SS. He's a big risk but in the 4th I'd say it is worth the gamble.
