I am down on Scherzer, since I've been burned by him too often. Every Spring, he is highly touted and then just massively disappoints. His best season posts a 3.50 ERA and 1.25WHIP. Last season, he posts 230+ Ks, but ho-hum every where else. We've been waiting for 4 years for Scherzer to put it together and I'm moving on. Let him be someone else's problem.

Max has his Era inflated by pre Allstar numbers. The last two seasons hes been a beast after the All star break. He does give up more hrs than I would like but I think he has finally turned the corner.
