In a 12 TEAM MIXED 5 X 5 $260.00 LEAGUGE. Five keepers allowed for 2013 only. Would you keep any or all of these: Belt $1 Saltalamacchia $1 Lucroy $5 Drew $1 Jordan Zimmerman $11 Pestano $3 (great keep if he becomes closer) C Janssen $10/Sergio Santos $11 (could keep whomever emerges as closer)
Lucroy, Zimmerman and maybe Pestano. No need to keep Janssen or Santos. You can get them back at similar prices. Same goes with Belt and Salty. Drew is intriguing so I could see doing it. Probably would go for slightly more so if you feel comfortable with him then add him to the list.

If Pestano gets the gig then he is an obvious choice as well. I don't see that happening before the beginning of the season though. He could get had for about the same cost again if you choose to target him.

If that's the case, then keep him and not gamble losing him.
Lucroy, Zimmermann and Pestano for me. Even if Pestano doesn't save games, he's going to be a big asset for your ratios and get you about a K an inning.

Pestano's ratios are okay, but nothing to write home about. If you are caught in a situation where you have a 'dead' roster spot and target RP's for the sake of ratios you could likely find better than Pestano. His value lies in the belief that Chris Perez is a crumb and that Pestano has the ability to do well in the role. Since Perez is likely going to begin the season as closer, there is no need to keep Pestano. I would attempt to add a saves guy since that is a category. If that fails, Pestano should be there.
I would hope for better. There are too many other quality options at that position.
And he has shown little at the major league level so you should have very little problem getting him for a $1 at auction. Not worth keeping at that point.

I would have thought Belt was a tough start in a 12 teamer There are so many C options, tough to say if you wait for a good $1 or you spend a little and get your guy. Zimm, Drew & Lucroy prob do it for me
