Our league has set a Jan 15th cut date for this year and I need some help in deciding who to keep.
16 Team Dynasty Money League using a Points/H2H scoring system which keeps track of just about every statistic and including defensive ones too. Good SPs can average 30pts or more per W; Any W will score around 18-20pts and shutout complete games can score 50 pts. Holds(8pts) are only worth 2 pts less than saves(10pts), so setup guys are valuable too. Finished tied for first in H2H record and in second place in total points scored during the regular season. I ended up losing to the top point scorer in the playoff finals. I scrambled all year long with my starting pitching and the team which beat me in the finals had inferior hitting but much superior starting pitching than my team.
For the most part, my hitters are set. Here is my starting everyday lineup: C: Posey, 1B: Fielder, 2B: Pedroia, 3B: Longoria, SS: Lowrie, CI: Sandoval, MI: Ciriaco, LF: M. Cabrera, CF: Cespedes, RF: A. Craig, OF: Morse, UT: A. Soriano BN: Ruggiano
We set our rosters daily and we can Start 3-4 SPs or 4-5RPs each day. So far, I am planning on keeping these pitchers: SPs: Niese, Diamond, Tillman, Cashner, Colby Lewis RPs: Rodney, Wilhelmsen, Frieri, Casilla, Perkins, Cishek, Madson Of the above, Cashner, Lewis and maybe Madson will start the year on the DL, so whomever I keep from the guys below will have to start for my team until they come off the DL.
Of these remaining players, which 5 would you keep? Hector Santiago, SP/RP - CWS Randall Delgado, SP – ATL Jeff Karstens, SP – FA(COL?) Mike Leake, SP – CIN Ross Detwiler, SP – WAS Francisco Liriano, SP – PIT Carlos Villanueva, SP – CHC Juan Oviedo, RP – MIA(DL) Emilio Bonifacio, 2B/CF(TOR) Jarrod Dyson, CF(KC)
