Brett Lawrie or Will Middlebrooks

Who is going to have the better season? The better career? I think Middlebrooks is going to have way more power than Lawrie, but Lawrie will hit for average . Lawrie is in a better lineup right now, but that will probably change sooner rather than later. I don't see Boston sucking for much longer.

Lawrie is likely to have better seasons than Middlebrooks in the short term. Given Lawrie style of play however, I wouldn't be shocked to see him hampered by injuries at some point in his career. Middlebrooks may have the better career numbers when all is said and done. He is a fairly one sedimentation player though. He'll need to cut down on the strikeouts in order to maintain an average above 0.275.
