6x6 Head to Head League (Holds/OPS)
12 Teams - 2 UTIL
Keeper League - Keep 4-7

Hi, I have 2 picks in a row in my draft and wasn't quite ready for the draft. Here is my current team:

Josh Hamilton
Carlos González
Ryan Braun
Edwin Encarnacion

Here are the picks I can take...I need to pick 2. Generally i HATE to go after pitchers in a Head to Head league this early as I feel they get watered down with only 1 start most weeks, especially in a holds league as well....but some good ones left. Also, I can only keep Braun & EE after the season...and I must keep 4...so keeper material is a consideration as well. Anyhow, please help...who would you pick (and maybe why?)?

Pitchers: Cliff Lee / Zach Grienke / Gio Gonzalez
Bats: Michael Bourn / Austin Jackson / David Ortiz / Freddie Freeman / Desmond Jennings / Ryan Zimmerman / Freddie Freeman / Chase Headley /
Ian Desmond / BJ Upton / Sin Soo Choo / Pablo Sandoval / Ben Zobrist / Brandon Phillips

I'd go with Lee and Greinke. Lee should bounce back fine this year and Greinke should be successful with the Dodgers. If you are completely against taking a pitcher and are looking for a keeper Freeman or Headley would be nice to slap some years on. To be honest though you'll be kicking yourself later on if you pass on Lee and Greinke (and Gio for that matter).

I think that you need to go SP too. I have limited H2H experience, and each is different, but having some top SP options and top bullpen arms was always my pitching formula. Greinke is an obvious choice. I personally like Gio more than Lee, but you could go either way.

I'd take Grienke and Gio Gonzalez. Gives you a very strong one-two punch at the top of your rotation. If you don't want to take 2 SP, take Grienke and either Zimm, Headly or Freeman, in that order.
