I really want to say Brett Lawrie after his 2011, but I just can't. Heyward.

I think its become quite clear that Heyward is a much safer pick at this point, by far. Lawrie could become an elite 3rd baseman but he will have to perform for the full season as Heyward has already done.

The question is which will have a better season and which will have a better career. The answer to that is Heyward...Lawrie has done nothing to prove the hype! So far, Lawrie has proven to be the Gordon Beckham of 3B prospects (slightly higher BA). Once Lawrie produces a 20/20 season we'll start talking about him. Heyward did that last year with 27/21. The question you should be asking is "Brett Lawrie or Martin Prado"....because that's about the production Lawrie has proven. If I was drafting for a fantasy team tomorrow, I would probably take Martin Prado 7 rounds later and enjoy the same stats that Lawrie would produce.
