Offer for Joey Votto in an Auction Keeper

Head to Head $300 Cap

I've listed my team with dollar values and then by position below. Currently my offense is full and I feel like it's very good....I have Votto for one more year at $19 then I can resign him for up to 5 more years at $29. I have been offered Jose Bautista who is at $3 and Edwin Encarnacion who is at $3. They represent very good value over Votto....but Votto is the king of OPS leagues and that will actually give me too many offensive players...but I'm seriously considering doing it. As of the last email he was wanting me to include Tavares, but I'm not doing that....if i can get him back to Votto for Encarnacion/Bautista...should I do that?

Normally I say keep Votto but in your case I would do it. It's a good deal. Your offense is stacked but your OF is old and shallow. Adding Bautista who if healthy is the Prince to Vottos king, will fix that and will lessen the loss of Votto. Then you can try to deal a SS for an upgrade at C, OF or SP.

I would do that deal. Tough to give up Votto and neither EE or Bautista is a sure thing going forward but I think this is too much value not to do it.

If you're going to move Votto that is the type of deal that it would require. It offers a great deal of flexibility too with the money saved. I'd do it.

I'd also do it. Votto is a stud but you are getting two potential 40 bomb threats and who aren't too shabby with OPS too. I would take it. Like Element said this is the type of value you look for if you are trading Votto.

Too much value to pass up, always look to the future in long term keeper leagues and what you can get in return for the J Bats and Edwin, it could return even more down the road. I LIKE IT.
