Keeper league ... Votto trade..suggestions?

Had Winter Meetings yesterday for our league and had several deals throw at me for Votto.

Do any of these interest you to keep along with Cano, Kemp and Weaver.

Votto for one of the following sets:

Josh Hamilton and David Wright
Josh Hamilton and Billy Butler
Edwin Encarnacion and Jay Bruce
Bryce Harper and Allen Craig
Clayton Kershaw and Adrian Beltre
Clayton Kershaw and Starlin Castro


Or would you stick with Votto and pair him up with Trumbo, Bourn or Cueto as my 5th keeper? Any help would be great.

Wow, you have gotten some pretty good offers. I would probably trade Votto for Hamilton and Wright. I think that's your best pair. Votto is a stud but you are getting two guys that are much better keepers than Bourn or Cueto. I would pull the trigger on that one.

I would snatch the Hamilton and Wright package. There are obvious risks with Hamilton and Wright can be an Up down guy, but I can easily see Hamilton as a top 10 guy and Wright in the 15-20 range, which is enough value for me to give up Votto.

Hamilton/Wright is the best offer. This would mean that Bourn would no longer be your final keeper. You could use the depth. Do it.

As much as I love Votto I have to agree with the last few posters, do the Hamilton/Wright deal ASAP.

A new proposal just came in. I didnt maybe tell the whole story when I was putting in my keeper as I wasnt thinking our 1 minor league keeper would matter. We get 5 MLB keepers and then 1 Minor Leaguer Keeper. I currently have Dylan Bundy.

I have been offered Adrian Beltre and Jameson Taillon for Bundy.

Thus my keepers would be:

1B: Votto
2B: Cano
3B: Beltre
OF: Kemp
P: J Weaver

Minor: Jameson Taillon

Otherwise with the Hamilton/Wright trade it would be:

2B: Cano
3B: Wright
OF: Josh Hamilton
OF: Kemp
P: J Weaver

Minor: Dylan Bundy

2B: Cano
3B: Beltre
OF: Kemp
P: J Weaver

Minor: Jameson Taillon




Not huge on Taillon, but Beltre is a 2nd rounder. Dylan Bundy would need to be a top 3 SP to be considered at the same time Beltre gets taken off of the board. I'd take that gamble. AND you keep Votto.
