I'm sorry if this isn't the proper place to post this, but I don't post on forums often and this seemed like a good place to post this. For the 2012 fantasy baseball season, I joined a first year keeper league. The rules are simple, for the 2013 season we may keep 3 players from our 2012 rosters, can't be our first picks, and wherever we drafted that player, is the position we give up in the 2013 draft. Another factor is since I won the league, I will be drafting last in 2013. Having said that, which three keepers would you hold on to, and if you could give a brief reason why, that would be helpful. Thank you for your time. Also, it is a 12-team league.
Round 3: Andrew McCutchen (keep in mind, 12 team league, last pick, snake draft, means this would act as the 36th pick of the draft) Round 7: Madison Bumgarner Round 8: Buster Posey Round 13: Johnny Cueto Round 15: Ryan Howard Round 16: Edwin Encarnacion Round 19: Yoenis Cespedes Round 25: Aroldis Chapman and Fernando Rodney (we can only keep on person we picked up off the waiver wire, so i could only keep 1 of them, but either will act as my last pick)
Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions would have been where to post... Cutch Posey & EE for me. I wouldn't take either pitcher ahead of these hitters. Chap as a starter has some Q's to be answered & I wouldn't take a closer as a keeper in a 3 keeper league
McCutchen and EE are the easy ones. I think I would take Posey. I am still not a believer in Cespedes and getting Posey in the 8th is better value IMO.
