I'd trade for Lawrie then and bid on one of the many 1B that will be available.

I think I would rather have EE. I would bet the EE will put up better numbers than Lawrie and he is only a little more.

That's a given. What about EE + drafted 3B vs Lawrie + drafted 1B though?

If he's eligible at 3B next year for you it's a no brainer. That said, he only had 1 game at 3B in 2012, and ESPN standard is 20 games the previous year meaning he won't have it for 2013. Even modified leagues are typically 5 to 10 games the previous year, so check your settings. ESPN hasn't updated eligibility yet for the 2013 season

Well you saved that trade for me . Just realized that espn hasn't updated the site. So he will only qualify at 1b next year. Man 3b is going to be really shallow.

I have Lawrie as my 4th 3B in AL only leagues this year, just ahead of Middlebrooks and Seager. I think I'd actually prefer Seager to Middlebrooks however, as I see the price being far enough apart the production won't cover it.

Either way, very shallow, I have Josh Donaldson at 10, Plouffe at 11 and Machado at 12. I think I'll be taking a chance on Chisenhall this year in my AL only leagues. Enough contact and his pedigree gives me some faith he'll hit .265+, so so numbers everywhere else, but should be the guy, and in AL only that's something. Spend big somewhere else.
