Should I trade for Carlos Santana in a keeper?(WHIR)

14 team, 40 man rosters, 7 player keeper league. 5x5 standard cats. Each player kept loses 3 draft spots from where they were drafted the year before. For example, I am keeping Anthony Rizzo and he was drafted in the 14th round last year so will be a 11th round keeper this year.

I have an offer on the table for my 26th round pick for his Carlos Santana and his 36th round pick. Would you do this if you had my team? My team is as follows:

Is that 26th overall pick and 36th overall pick? vs 26th round as listed?

Yes could see moving back 10 spots to get Carlos Santana after all those keepers, sounds solid to upgrade at C

I am glad I asked then, just a little confused. so 7 players are kept across 14 teams and I know you have such deep rosters overall you draft through the 40th round so assumed such low rounds wouldnt even be discussed.

But now that I am clear; to swap 10 rounds back, seems like a slam dunk for you even further to obtain carlos. The cliff from 26th rounder in a 14 team league with 98 players kept to a 36th rounder is nothing (compared to say I don't know the cliff from 10th round to 20th). Will Quality drop, sure but its not that drastic and your obtaining Carlos Santana to man catcher. Thx for confirming it was rounds!

And then carlos #7, thought about freese vs lohse..if lohse signs somehwere bad (Tex) id flip that choice in a heartbeat

I think getting Santana at that cost is a no brainer especially with your other keeper options.
