Trying to get a feeling for this deal. Part of me still see's Tulo as a top 10 player so I want to make sure I am not missing something. The trade is his Tulo for my McCutchen. This is a 14 team 9 keeper POINTS league with 15 minor league keepers.
My keepers:
Miggy Lawrie Andrus McCutchen Aaron Hill (I don't love him as a keeper but he was actually the 2nd best 2B in our league last year. Looking to deal him but not sure if I will get enough for him) Kershaw Wainwright Zimmerann Brett Anderson
We do play SS and CI so having two SS won't be a problem. Also in this deep of a league I should be able to deal one of the two off for something.

Honestly, I think I have to go with McCutchen here. I have simply lost faith in Tulowitzki's ability to stay on the field. Stat-wise the two are very similar, but I juts have more faith in McCutchen's durability.
I know tulo always gets hurt or gets cold at the wrong times but in a vacuum i would still lean to him slightly because of the SS vs OF but both players are in the same ballpark of value overall.
That being said, I don't think you need to be so strong at SS (tulo) and MI (Andrus is a great MI as he would be starting SS for many teams) and theres plenty of risks in those problems I listed above with tulo so in your case would stand pat.
Maybe you can push him though for an intriguing kicker along with tulo or a 2 for 2 that kinda helps things along more than you. If you could get anything more on the back end of this that slants it a little more its doable

This. Tulo, who I think is a bit more valuable than Cutch, just can't be trusted enough to stay on the field, which makes Cutch more valuable since he's not injury prone.

Having Andrus already makes this a bit easier. I'd go with McCutchen myself. Too much risk involved, but I'm not one for risks when choosing my keepers, rather take them in the draft.
As was mentioned though, maybe add a little something to get a little something. Add Hill and get an upgrade somewhere.
I'm going with Mccutchen . too many health issues with Tulo. I'm hoping Cutch is still avalible with my 4th overall pick in my 12 team mixed. Thanks for all your help !!!!
I'd stick with McCutchen as well. He's a safe choice & an upper tier talent. If you could get Tulo at a lower cost I would seriously consider it though.
