I took out Weaver and Jones as they are keepers in all three and therefor aren't deciding factors. For me it comes down to 2 and 3 and I think I would lean towards #3. I think the difference between Hamels and Dickey is bigger than the difference of EE and Lawrie. I haven't bought in to EE repeating last year and I see Lawrie improving at which point they are a lot closer in value then they were last year. I also don't like Dickey's move to the AL East.

Thanks for doing that. It obviously makes it a lot clearer when you take out those two. I'm REALLY confused, though. Why is everyone so high on Lawrie?? The guy didn't do a damn thing last year! What am I missing?

We love guys who aren't stars yet but could become a star soon. He might not do it but he has enough tools that if it all comes together it will be special. He can be a 20/20 guy at 3B with solid RBI/R/AVG numbers and could get his HR to 30+.
If in set 2, you were talking about a 3B with a better track record than EE, I would probably go with him over Lawrie. But both have some question marks and I would rather have Hamels and Lawrie then EE and Dickey.

If you don't get Brett Lawrie @ 3rd chances are you end up with a subpar 3rd basemen. Look at the additions to that lineup. I think he settles in and has a much improved year in 1 of the better offenses in baseball. Hamels over Dickey by quite a bit and its set 3 for me

In a draft Encarnacion would go too high for me and I'd rather wait on Lawrie. I like set 3 the best as well. Bautista is the best of all the players and I like Hamels much better than Dickey.
