I'm in a 16-team dynasty league where you keep all your players year to year, it's H2H 6x6 categories (standard 5x5 plus OBP and holds), we start 2 1B and 2 3B.

I give: Giancarlo Stanton
I get: Matt Moore and Paul Goldschmidt

Team b gives: kipnis/zobrist and phil hughes
gets: sabathia

team c gives: moore, sabathia and goldschmidt
gets: stanton, kipnis/zobrist, hughes

Should I do this trade?

BQ: Should i still do it if i have to add something else small around the value of an ichiro?

This is an awesome trade...for team C.

I think you can get a lot more Stanton. He is a top 10 pick for sure in a 16-team Dynasty. Even though your OF is stacked, I wouldn't do this trade. I think you should be able to get a young #1 ace (Hamels, Cain, Bumgarner) plus 1 or 2 solid top-50 hitters for Stanton. Also try to dump Dunn along with him.

I'm not sure this would pass without veto (if you have one). I feel team B is getting the short end of the stick on this. C.C. is good and all but there's no way I'd give up Kipnis/Zobrist and Phil Hughes to get him. I think you're getting an okay trade with Moore and Goldschmidt in return for Stanton. I can't see him producing much this upcoming year after the fire sale.

I do agree that team C makes out great on this but I can't see it going through.

I think this is all pretty close to being fair. Although I am not sure I would do this trade if I were you. I am not a Goldschmidt believer and you are trading easily the best player for two guys who still have a lot to prove.

Kind of surprised people are down on the team B. Zobrist for Sabathia seems perfectly fair. Hughes is nothing but a throw in and easily replaceable off the WW. If Sabathia gets healthy then it is a steal for team B. Seems like a decent gamble depending on how the team is set up. Could be trying to win now. Though I will say team B better be dealing Zobrist and not Kipnis or the deal is a little more questionable.

Team C gives up the least and gets more then he is giving up.
