Jered Weaver or Cole Hamels? WHIR guaranteed

SP Categories: QS, ERA, WHIP, K's, and K/BB

Who do you like better for 2013 with those categories? And....why? Are injuries a concern for either guy?

I would keep Weaver... not sure why but for me its a gut call and I would go with him.

I would go with Hamels. It is such a close choice that you probably can't go wrong either way.

looking at a couple top 300 and early rankings:
Hardball Times had them # 39 & 40
RotoProfessor had them the # 6 and 10 SP's
MDC expert had them #5 and 10 SP's. All 3 were Hamels over Weaver
They had very similar #'s in 12 with the 1 real difference Hamels 74 K's. Weaver missed a few more starts; not sure injury concern is much of a factor.
You'd really have to have another good reason to take Weaver first tho I'd be thrilled to own either

Id go hamels. They are close enough in overall value to understand the discussion/decision/debate, but my mind went to Hamels fairly quickly.

I also would go with Hamels. Better K rate, better league, more talent. I like him pretty easily over Weaver.
