How the hell could this possibly be from a 12 team league? Well done...

If you really want to know, the process of building this group started a few years ago. At that point, Upton and Kershaw were the guys I decided to build around.


Predraft 2010 -- gave Kinsler, McCutchen, & Gallardo -- got Kemp (Obviously an overpay, but I didn't have space to keep both Kinsler and McCutchen, and I already had Utley)
7/26/10 -- gave Fielder & Garza -- got Pujols & Buerhle
8/3/10 -- gave Dominic Brown, Justin Smoak & Tim Hudson -- got Ryan Zimmerman & Sean Marshall

5/21/11 -- gave Leo Nunez & Lohse -- got Hamels & Marlon Byrd
7/7/11 -- gave Drew Storen -- got Matt Cain
7/7/11 -- gave Jordan Walden -- got Ricky Romero
8/10/11 -- gave Utley & Worley -- got Pedroia

Predraft 2012 -- gave Jay Bruce & Matt Moore -- got Braun
Predraft 2012 -- gave Ryan Zimmerman, Cain, & Haren -- got Jose Bautista (Another overpay, but I only had space to keep 1 of those 3 guys anyway)
7/17/12 -- gave Brett Myers -- got Adam Wainwright (This was just days before Myers got traded to the White Sox and lost his job. Couldn't have been better timing.)
9/5/12 -- gave Jose Bautista -- got David Wright (I was trying to defend my title and Bautista's busted wrist wasn't helping any, plus Joey loses 3B-elig next year.)


So it's been a lot of work to put this current roster together and I'd like to get a few championships out of it before they all start to get too old.
