I'd just like to add that my claim to fame is getting Genie to implement two separate databases for "Players to be called up" and "When yahoo! adds them" like six years ago. ;-D :-D :-D

rwdiii, you didn't see this coming in spring training...or even in last year's decline? He either has something wrong with his arm or he's past his prime and falling quickly. I had him moved into the "don't draft list" in my pre-season rankings. Sorry, I know this isn't the place for this argument, but I couldn't help myself.

I saw it coming but he dropped waaaay down on the draft board (clearly for good reason). I figured I'd give him a couple of starts (on my bench) to see if he was crap (which he is) and now I can't drop him!

rwdiii, I understand completely. I had drafted a player who got hurt a couple years ago and missed half the season but I couldn't drop him because he kept coming back and getting injured again. As I understand it, if a player is out for a certain period of time he will come off the list, but if he is on and off and on the DL you are stuck with him. Halliday is not(at least publicly) injured so you may be in it for the long haul. I don't exactly know the rules for the "can't cut list". Maybe if you try the "Help" section on Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball the answer might be there.

rwdiii, this is from Yahoo! Help on Can't cut list:

Players will be removed if injury or performance issues cause their value to drop below that of the top players at their position. If an underachieving player remains on the list, it is because the league office feels his long-term value exceeds that of any player who might be available on the free agents list.

Injured players are not automatically removed from the Can't Cut List. Consideration is given to the length of time that a player is expected to miss and the player's projected value upon their return.

Custom League commissioners cannot manually adjust the Can't Cut List. However, if a Custom League should later decide to add or drop this feature, the commissioner can make this change through Commissioner Tools.

In addition, while Custom League Commissioners cannot manually adjust the Can't Cut List, they can remove players currently on the list from their current team via the "Edit Rosters" tool found among their Commish Tools. Players dropped in this fashion will go immediately to free agency and will not be placed on waivers.

Please note: If you would still like to voice your opinion on a particular player, feel free to provide feedback to Yahoo! Sports directly.

rwdiii apparently you can ask your commissioner to remove him from your team via the "commisioner tools"...but if I were the commissioner, I would ask the league and go by majority vote before I would go against the original rules like that just to be fair and not anger the other managers.
