There are many meatier topics on the board already, but this one is driving me nuts, especially since I think it's probably my own fault:
I've done a couple mock auctions on Yahoo, and when the auction screen comes up, there's something screwed up about the display - the chat bar comes in under my taskbar, so I can't chat. I've tried it in both IE and Chrome on two different computers and I always get the same result. Even if I don't maximize the window, and instead condense it down to half the screen, it still cuts off the chat bar. I don't have this issue with the mock draft screen, just the mock auction. I'd assumed it was a problem with the settings on my end, but not sure what, given the different browsers and computers I've used, and I'm concerned it'll happen in my live auctions.
Again, I assume this is something obvious that I'm missing about my display settings.
On the meatier topics, consider me another voice in favor of year-round access - seems like a great way to increase Yahoo!'s retention numbers.
One thing that would lower my blood pressure is a delay before auto-draft kicks in during an auction draft. Several times, I've been momentarily disconnected from the internet and when I return, the auto-draft has bid $25 on Curtis Granderson. Ahhh!!
I don't know if there's an easy way to code that in, but it would be awesome.
re: pro leagues Frustrating, but the same status as before. Held up in legal.
I know lawyers are expensive.....but this is getting ridiculous......I cant imagine how much money these guys are costing Yahoo
Lol, I would imagine this is not going over well at Yahoo. February was one thing, but when you are into March now, I can see people getting antsy.
The worst thing is Yahoo needs to let people know whats going on; or at least tell them to come to FantasyBaseballCafe to get updates from the Genie. I never received an email or saw a post explaining what is going on. I have to believe alot of people are probably just assuming Yahoo isn't doing pro leagues this year and putting their money elsewhere.

I agree, I think Genie is doing us all a great favor by answering questions here. And I thank him for it. I just feel bad for those who have the questions but aren't getting answers. I'd think at this point in March some of those pay leagues may have moved onto CBS or ESPN by now and Yahoo only stands to lose $ the longer the delay lasts.
