Draft rooms not opening for small number of leagues ID: SLN14317 Refers to: Fantasy Baseball
Description
Customers are reporting that their draft room is failing to open when the live draft hits.
Cause
A database issue caused the draft room to fail.
Resolution
We are receiving reports that the live draft room is failing to open for a small number of Fantasy Baseball leagues.
Status:
Our engineering team determined the cause of the issue, and is working to implement a fix for the issue.
We appreciate your patience in the meantime.
Workaround:
It appears the issue is limited to leagues using either of these stat categories:
Saves + Holds Net Saves + Holds
If your league has not drafted, please remove these stat categories, then write into Yahoo! Sports following the draft and we will add the category to your league.
If the league already has drafted, the commissioner can reset the league draft and either reschedule it for a later date (see above), or they can run the draft offline and submit the results.
Is this occurring in all leagues that use SAVES + HOLDS and/or NET SAVES + HOLDS? One of my drafts is scheduled pretty close to opening day and I'm worried that if I delete the category and then write in to Yahoo as instructed that the changes wont be made by support before the season begins. Either way it sounds like a pain
Regarding having a player in your DL spot who is no longer on the DL... it has always been the case that you could make internal lineup adjustments, but not do any add/drops until you got that guy off the DL. But based on my recent hockey experience, that does not seem to be the case any longer (I am not allowed to make any move of any sort with Hartnell in my IR spot). Is this a "bug" in Yahoo hockey or something being applied in all sports (which tends to be the case with Yahoo)? If so, I HATE it...

Heard back that this was a bug that has since been fixed. Nothing to see here... carry on.

re: the DL slot That was me :-( The bug is fixed, and scheduled to go out on Tuesday, as it stands now. To throw you a small bone, if it helps any, that bug was introduced as I was implementing a new feature for baseball that you guys wanted that isn't out yet. Enough said.
re: drafts not working for leagues with SV+Holds and SV+Holds-BS That bug has been fixed but not pushed. If your league isn't drafting in the next day or two, you'll be fine. If your league is drafting in the next day or two, you can either postpone it until the fix goes out, or remove that stat and have customer care add the stat in after your draft.
re: pro leagues Frustrating, but the same status as before. Held up in legal.
