One of the things that sold me on the x51 is the fact that it visually looks like a console, and my girlfriend won't bitch that it's an eyesore, and it'll fit in my entertainment unit easily. The joys of living with a woman.

One thing I forgot about NVidia cards is that most of them use mini-hdmi to hdmi and I'm pretty sure that your card is the same. There's no difference other than the size of the port on the card but you are going to want to order that kind of cable before the card comes.

One other thing you need for gaming: An Xbox 360 wired controller. Accept no substitutes. You could try a wireless 360 controller with a wireless adapter you can get on Amazon, but I haven't personally tried that. I've seen mixed reviews, but the bad reviews seem to be that it doesn't work right when there is a 360 console in the room, so if that's not the case it's worth a shot.

The 360 controller itself will work? Or one of those Logitech or whatever ones that look like them? I'm guessing that because 360 is a Microsoft product that it will work with ease? I'd have to get a wireless regardless, as I sit probably 15 feet from where the PC will be situated. If you can link to whatever I should get that'd be awesome. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, 360 itself will work, it's the only controller that is worth your money. If you absolutely need wireless, here is what you need. Read the reviews and decide for yourself if you're willing to give it a shot. Otherwise, you can get an extender for the wired controller.

The wired controller connects via USB? It's been so long since I had a 360 I can't even remember. It seems like this adapter will do the trick. I wonder if there's something similar for my PS3 controllers...

I'm reading a way to hook it up and download drivers that won't require an adapter at all. I'm wondering, though, how it'll work as far as turning the controller on/off, and it not accidentally turning on the PS3, etc.

shame you didn't do that before giving up the credit card number.
You could of built a cool custom mini atx system that looked beautiful sitting on any entertainment center, for about half the price.
Best in show.
