Updated my list. I used my last two picks on Betancourt and Valverde to shore up my Bullpen some. My biggest need seems to be second base, but second base is so thin I plan to trade or find a free agency to fill that void.

I know Justin Morneau is a great value, but I really don't have a place for him on my roster. Should I target him anyways?

Should I get another reliever? Or should I get some prospects?

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you to all those who have helped so far and in the future. Greatly appreciated.

I like Morneau because this is the first offseason that he has been able to workout since he got injured. Nice upside for a reasonable cost. Baker is a nice target for the same reasons. either he's good and he's a great value for a few years or he's a lemon.

Imo - this is the part of the draft where you start picking up upside guys and the top 50ish prospects that are left (there are quite a few out there still).

Ok, I took Morneau with my recent pick. Now I am debating between these for my next pick:

Zack Mcallister
James McDonald
Cory Luebke
Noah Syndergaard

or another prospect?

Thoughts?

It seems like you have a fair amount of pitching so far. I would gamble on Luebke here.

If you have the cash ... why not take a chance on Berkman? What a premium spot for him to be if he is healthy. Otherwise, I would stick with the prospect theme:

1. Berkman (unless you don't have the $)
2. Carlos Martinez
3. Noah Syndergaard
4. Aaron Sanchez
