Quick yes or no on this trade (h2h keeper league)
I give Bumgarner @ $6 for 3 for years ( increases $2 a year)
I get Weaver @ $23 for 2 years (next year is $24)
And Rights to match at whatever auction price Kris Medlen goes for (probably ~ $20)

Anyone?
I don't like giving up Bumgarner for so cheap but at the same time I could use the pitching. Medlen I'm sure will be a hot commodity come auction time tho and may go as high as $25 (not sure if I would want to match that). My other pitchers kept from last year are Kennedy, Hanson, Jansen (can't beleive he's not closing) and Greg Holland.

Yup. And I'm not so sure that I would want to spend $20 to find out if Medlen can stay healthy all season.

Bumgarner baby!
You go there once, you'll be there twice.

I have Bumgarner as a top 10 SP this year so that's definitely a no-go on the trade. Weaver isn't someone to target...6.77 K/9 last year was a second straight year of decline, fastball velocity fell, and his FIP was 3.75. Bumgarner is a stud.

Jared Weaver is a low end ace yes, but my goodness you haev MadBum who is younger, cheaper etc...Now if that deal were Medlen at that fixed price I'd do it. But its not. PASS! (easily)
