Keeper league trade question

Postby archie » Wed Dec 12, 2012 9:47 pm

I have Shin So Choo and I 'm thinking about offering him for either Paul Goldschmidt or Mike Moustaukes. All 3 have the same dollar amount and are under control for 2 more years. What do you think should I offer a trade? Thanks

I have then ranked as such:

Goldschmidt

Choo

Moustakas

Unless you're stacked at 1B already I would cash in on the Choo trade.

I could see a case that I'd just keep Choo if I needed the OF help and was ok at 1B already...just on paper though I'd lean slightly towards Goldy.

I would take Moustakas. Must not be a Goldschmidt fan because it is the second question that I have taken someone else over him. I like the 3B eligibility for Moustakas and I think he has similar power potential.

Unfortunately I think that might be the only similarity between the two...I imagine Goldy will beat him in every other category.

If you can get Goldy do that in a heartbeat.

If you post the rest of your lineup we would be able to give you more specific help.

Agreed. I am surprised there hasn't been more support for Choo. I have a feeling I will be targeting him alot in leagues. Free agent year, finally on a good team with a dirty lineup, in a hitters ball park. I think you could get a very big year out of choo.

3b is such a hard position to fill, if you can get Moose for Choo its a fair deal in my book and I'd make that if you need a 3b. If you need a CI or UTL bat then I'd easily go with Goldy as well. But if 3b is a glaring weakness Moose for me. ;-D
