Is it me or did the Diamondbacks get fleeced? Trading one of the games better pitching prospects for an ok shortstop prospect and an ok reliver and a 26 year old aaaa first baseman seems like a bad move.

He's not going to post the RBI numbers if he's batting leadoff. I love the park and protection though.

Obviously I have no idea how it would play out, but I'd imagine choo would hit #2 with cozart (or maybe, at some point billy Hamilton) leading off.

Also, the reds now have a hole in center field. Does this put them in the Michael Bourn market?

Isn't the Reds outfield now Bruce, Ludwick and Choo? My guess would be Choo playing Center?

Choo is gonna play center though I read that scouts think Bruce would be better there and they expect the Reds will figure that out at some point.

I just noticed the DBacks also threw in Shaw and Albers... what were they thinking?

It will be interesting to see what happens with Bauer. Maybe the Diamondbacks know something we don't but I would have thought they could have gotten an actual major league player for him because from what I see they just filled their AAA lineup.

Towers just needed to free up some roster space for MORE relievers. Kevin Towers <3's relievers like Uncle Ned <3's utility guys.

Bauer seems to have rejected the DBacks advice on making adjustments. My guess is they were frustrated with his coachability and felt like making a move.
