Full details:
Rally Cap Fantasy Baseball Leagues
Rally Cap Fantasy Baseball Leagues was founded in January 2010. Rally Cap is a money (fees vary by league), dynasty (keep entire roster year to year), Head-to-Head each category (standard 5x5), salary cap, relegation and promotion fantasy baseball league played on fantrax.com.
Intention/Purpose
This league is meant to be very competitive and fun. Competitiveness will be ensured by using a salary cap to ensure teams have similar valued rosters and Leagues divided by team quality through relegation and promotion. Also, league fees ensure that owners take there teams seriously and that there is something to gain or lose.
That being said, the main purpose of this league is for everyone to have fun, it should not be about winning money.
Teams
Rally Cap currently consists of 4 leagues (or divisions) of 8 teams each for a total of 32 teams
Team Names
Please keep team names family friendly: no cuss words or sexual connotations
Preferred if you'd keep same team name year after year – it's easier to keep track of teams that way opposed to changing your team name every year.
Leagues
Rally Cap Fantasy Baseball Leagues consist of a 'Major League', 'AAA League', 'AA League', and an 'A League'.
Rosters
Each teams roster may consist of up to 25 active players with 5 additional slots for players on the Disabled List. Rosters are used from all Major League Baseball teams. Rally Cap uses a limited duplicate player option in which each player in the league may be on a maximum of two teams. (example...Albert Pujols may play on a maximum of two teams in the league)
Rosters will be kept year-after-year.
***Fantrax's 'limit duplicate player' option is in 'beta mode' right now and not all options are available. Trading will be done manually until they have that option included in our league. Free Agent Aquisition Budgets (FAAB) are also normally a part of the league, however FAAB will be put on hold until fantrax has it implemented into our league.
Spring Draft
Starting in 2013 there will be a one-round draft beginning with last place team of A League ending with first place team of the Major League. Draft is planned to be held in early March.
Transactions
Teams may trade with each other throughout the entire season. There will be no trading deadline. Trades will be pending for at least two complete days to give owners a chance to veto. It will take 8 (eight) veto votes to veto a trade.
Teams may drop players and add free agents as they wish so long as rosters remain legal
