I have Cargo, Matt Holliday and Adam Jones at OF of which I can keep 2. I'm leaning towards keeping Cargo and Holliday and dropping Jones. But, should I try to trade Cargo and possibly get a top shelf pitcher? I have another guy very interested in Cargo and I might be able to land David Price. I guess it boils down to how much more can Jones improve? Is he already at his ceiling? Or was last year the start of bigger things?
If you could trade Holliday or Jones for Price, I might do that. But not Cargo, he's too valuable. He is definintely the top player out of the three you already have. I usually stick with hitters, so I would just keep Cargo, and you're preferencer of the other two....they are so close in value.
Agreed with everyone else. Wouldn't Move Cargo for Price, But gladly would either of the other 2. How long can you keep a player for? Id lean Jones in the long term obviously if you can keep him for years to come. If not i guess holliday for the year but its close man.
If you traded for Price would you be able to keep him AND the other two OF'ers you retain? Straight up, Cargo for Price is too much. The others separately won't be good enough for the Price owner. As it stands, I would keep Cargo and Holliday & let Jones walk.
Eh that's rough to give up Cargo. Grabbing an ace is good... see if you can acquire a slightly lesser, but equally as good ace for Holliday or Jones. I'd be inclined to move Holliday at his age.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
