MLBTR: 1 year, $13MAngels decline $12M option and he proceeds to sign a one year deal for $13M. A bit strange that the Angels couldn't have just picked up the option and traded him to the Nats and got an asset worth up to $1M in return.

That's an understatement. That group rivals some of the best rotations of the past 25 years.
I would agree with that. The Nats are going to make a deep playoff run this year if they stay healthy.

Yeah, if Haren can bounce back, that's a stupid rotation. I think his back may have bothered him all year, so here's hoping he can get back to full strength. He could be a great bargain in drafts next year.
