HUGE Trade - Opinions Needed

I'm in a 12-man, 5 keeper league. 3 keepers are hitters, 2 are pitchers. Standard scoring.

Here's my dilemma: My current 5 keepers are Evan Longoria/Miguel Cabrera/Matt Kemp/Justin Verlander/Matt Moore. I'm not a Tigers fan, but someone in my league is, and they proposed this trade to me: Miguel Cabrera/Matt Kemp/Justin Verlander for Mike Trout/Stephen Strasburg/Adam Jones. Doing this would then make my keepers Longoria/Trout/Jones/Strasburg/Moore. So, what do you guys think? Should I do it?

No deal. Cabrera and Trout can be argued that they are close in value even though I am not ready too. Cabrera has too much of a track record and Trout had way too hot for a couple months for me to quite believe he is a top tier player just yet. Even if you do believe Trout is the same value as Cabrera, Verlander is easily better than Strasburg and Kemp is better than Jones. While Trout and Strasburg have a ton of potential and could be better players in 2-3 years, I wouldn't trade the best hitter and the best pitcher on projection.

don't like the trade at all. don't really like Moore as a top 60 keeper; if I'm doing something it would be to upgrade there

In H2H points it's Cabrera over Trout all day. 5x5 I take Trout. Kemp over Jones and Verlander is the best pitcher in the game. No dice.

I agree that this trade is a no-go, but let's not go crazy. Trout does not equal Kemp.

LOL. I was waiting for that. I know everyone loves them some Trout. But Trout is just going into year two. Kemp is a year off from a 39/40. Using a simple tier system logic, Kemp is at the bottom of that tier.
