This'll be either a snark storm because Barry isn't in, or a Helen Lovejoy storm if he's in first attempt.

Either way load up your twitters O:-)

From everything I'm hearing and seeing, I'd be shocked if the steroid boys make it in...at least on the first ballot anyway.

Yes, I also would be surprised if Bonds, Sosa, McGwire or Clemens makes it in on this go round.

My money is on Ryan Klesko.

I expect this to be the 1st time in a long time that nobody is voted in. I'm fine with that as long as it keeps Morris out. We already have way too many guys who don't deserve it in the HOF.

The only guys with a chance of getting in this year are Biggio, Raines and Morris.

It's a joke Morris is as close as he is.
Nothing like a Jim Rice wing of over hyped players.
I turn off all the HOF talk.
Nothing more disgusting, then these guys cheated, so no vote.
The HOF would have about 10 guys in then, and they weren't players.
Nothing like a Morris Rice wing to take the kids too.

Man- everyone's always using poor Jim Rice as an example of a player who doesn't deserve to be in there. I say Jim has served his time as the goat- Let's give the guy a break for a while and let's pick someone else.

Nominations?

Wait a few years and when Omar Vizquel gets voted in you can use him.

I'd be happy to see Jack Morris voted in over the best hitter and one of the best pitchers of all time. The HOF deserves that kind of absurd moment to make everybody realize how unimportant it has become. A thousand players from the 1800s and Jack Morris. Congratulations, geniuses.
