Seriously? You presumably created this thread with the knowledge that the chief debate surrounding this year's ballot was what to do with Bonds/Clemens/Sosa. You also incited that specific discussion immediately with your ridiculous first post including only Craig Biggio and Dale Murphy while ignoring Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens (the obvious class of this field or any other). No, there was no hijacking here. Let's not pretend that them calling you on that wasn't exactly what you wanted.

Here's a link toplayer info on those new to the ballot this year, and voting totals for those returning candidates:
http://bbwaa.com/Barry Bonds
Roger Clemens
Fred McGriff
Mark McGwire
Tim Raines
Sammy Sosa
Here is my list.
I agreed on Maddux for next year, if he doesn't get in on the 1st try, I will lose the last bit of respect I have for the HoF process
Thanks to Idahofan for the sweet graphic!

7 MVPs
8 Gold Gloves
If you're going to make a case for Bonds, you can't base it on MVP and Gold Glove awards. You can't expect the Hall of Fame voters to use awards voted on by a pack of ignorant morons as criteria for selection.

I like the thought of this happening. The obvious undertone of the event/weekend would be so uncomfortable for everyone involved and I would greatly enjoy watching from a distance.
