I've included my converted projection to auction dollar values for 12 team OBP leagues (assuming CI MI 5 OF 1 UTIL) next to each player.
Matt Wieters: 17 - 10
Paul Konerko: 28 - 19
Robinson Cano: 47 - 41
Hanley Ramirez: 44 - 23
Starlin Castro: 16*** - 13
Ben Zobrist: 16* - 32
Joe Mauer: 10*** - 17
Michael Morse: 7* - 1
Desmond Jennings: 6*** - 11
Alex Gordon: 9* - 12
Shane Victorino: 24 - 11
Jason Heyward: 17*** - 20
J.J. Hardy: 17 - 0
Eric Hosmer: 15* - 9
Todd Frazier: 0 - 5
Jered Weaver: 18*** - 27
Zach Grienke: 16*** - 5
Kenley Jensen: 3 - 11
Ryan Dempster: 2 - (5)
Casey Janssen: 6 - 5
Tyler Clippard: 6 - 2
Matt Harrison: 0 - (4)
CC Sabathia: 31 - 18
Clayton Kershaw: 31*** - 38
Anibal Sanchez: 0 - 0
Based on this, I would keep the following
1. Zobrist
2. Mauer
3. Jennings
4. Gordon
5. Heyward
6. Weaver
7. Kershaw
8. Jansen
This would give you position flexibility with Zobrist, but also give you a solid SS option. If you take a flier on a young SS at MI, and he pans out, you have options of players to move and shift Zobrist into that vacancy. You have a stud catcher locked up with great value. Your OF is full of value and provides a nice mix of stats between Jennings, Gordon and Heyward. This will allow you to use the remaining spots to fill in with specific stats to get you to your targets. Then throw in two aces and a power relief arm, all at a nice value, and you're on your way to building a winner in 2013.
