Well done on the voting. Is it really the same pool of people used to vote for the CYA that votes for MVP??? Crazy.

AL is a coin toss between Verlander and Price. No issue with either one of them. Same goes for the NL with Dickey and Kershaw. Gotta go with Dickey though, the story is too good. The one big head scratcher here is Jered Weaver. Seriously? No surprise that it's the two LA guys that put him ahead of Justin Verlander. They should have their licenses revoked.

It also amazes me that Cliff Lee was borderline-deserving of the award himself despite going 6-9 on the year. He'd be my clear choice for #3 in the NL. Felix is the clear choice as #3 in the AL.

Tampa bay didn't even make the playoffs, Verlander should have won.

Oh wait, its the MVP where that matters. Well, at least the CY Young still has some credibility.

Read today that only 6 of the 11 previous Triple Crown winners have also won the MVP in that same season. So, I guess it's still possible that Trout wins it despite the media having already crowned Cabrera (who I still think will ultimately win; though there is a precedent here for him not).
