I saw Dickey and Kershaw as almost identical. But with Dickey logging more innings and having the better record, I didn't see him losing the vote.
Verlander had a better season than Price, but it wasn't by a landslide. Price is certainly deserving. Verlander is still the best pitcher in baseball at the moment.

Tampa bay didn't even make the playoffs, Verlander should have won.
Oh wait, its the MVP where that matters. Well, at least the CY Young still has some credibility.
